The Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Diponegoro University (UNDIP), together with PT PLN Electricity Services (PLN-ES), held an in-person meeting as part of the Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering educational cooperation program. The event took place on Friday, April 24, 2026, in Jakarta.
This program is part of an effort to enhance the competencies of engineers within PLN-ES through academic and practice-based continuing education. As part of this collaboration, a special Master’s in Electrical Engineering class was launched, attended by 15 participants from PLN-ES.
The meeting was attended by faculty members from the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, UNDIP, namely Ir. Mochammad Facta, ST, MT, Ph.D., and Dr. Ir. Abdul Syakur, ST, MT, IPU, as well as participants in the Master of Electrical Engineering program, including Dimas, Mahmud, Bachtiar, Nanang, Teguh Antoni, Luhur, Deni Ade, Arif, Riandi, and Unggul.
Through this meeting, both parties strengthened the synergy between the academic and industrial sectors in developing high-quality human resources in the field of electrical power engineering. This program is expected to produce graduates who not only possess theoretical competencies but are also capable of addressing technical challenges in the field in a professional and innovative manner.
This collaboration represents a concrete step in supporting the development of engineering capacity and strengthening the contribution of higher education institutions to improving the quality of the national electricity industry.
