(Semarang, July 12nd, 2022) The Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Diponegoro University supports the Independent Learning Campus (MBKM) activity which is a policy of the Minister of Education and Culture. According to Permendikbud No. 3 of 2020, it gives students the right to study for 3 semesters outside their study program. Students have the right to add and improve their knowledge and competence in accordance with their respective passions and aspirations. Currently registration for the MBKM Batch 3 Internship and Independent Study Program (MSIB) is ongoing until 17 July 2022 (extended), with the following conditions:
1. Active students registered with PDdikti,
2. Have not carried out the judiciary,
3. Students register themselves through the MBKM account,
4. Minimum semester for MSIB program students:
a. Minimum D3 program has taken semester 4
b. Applied Bachelor Program / S1 has completed at least semester 5
5. Letter of Recommendation from the Faculty/Study Program, and
6. If the information on PDDikti is not in accordance with the semester being taken, the Faculty/Study Program can provide information on the semester being taken by the student concerned in the Recommendation Letter.

In connection with the implementation of MSIB MBKM Batch 3, the Department of Electrical Engineering held an Audience with students who in this case were represented by the Functionary of the 2022/2023 Electrical Student Association chaired by Savero Pakavi Zahrudin on Monday (11/7/2022). This activity was carried out by the Department for transparency in the implementation of MSIB MBKM as expected by students of the Electrical Engineering Study Program. “Electrical residents need information and quick responses because it is related to the technicalities of applying for their own internships, for example, it is very crowded in all universities so that many have closed their registration in the short future,” said Savero. This quick response from the Department is carried out in order to provide SIGAP services, so that students can get their rights to the fullest regarding this MBKM MSIB.
In an audience attended by the Head of the Department, the Head of the Undergraduate Study Program, and the Secretary of the Electrical Engineering Undergraduate Study Program along with BKM lecturers, they have provided transparency on the implementation of the MSIB MBKM in the Electrical Engineering Undergraduate Study Program.
