UNDIP ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING STUDENTS WIN 3RD PLACE NATIONALLY IN ERIC 2025 INDUSTRIAL PLC CATEGORY

Students from the Electrical Engineering Department at Diponegoro University have once again achieved national recognition. The team consisting of Yulianesa (21060124120002) and Yazid Sirril Wafa (21060124140175) won 3rd place at the Electronics and Robotics Innovation Competition (ERIC) 2025 in the Industrial PLC competition.

The competition, held by the State University of Jakarta (UNJ), took place offline on September 24-25, 2025, after going through the preliminary and semifinal stages, which were held online. In the final round, participants were assessed based on the results of their PLC program work and their presentation skills in front of the judges.

The UNDIP Electrical Engineering team appeared confident with their solid concept and program implementation. As a result, they managed to place third nationally, surpassing a number of other participants from various universities. The teams that advanced to the final round came from the Jakarta State Polytechnic (1 team), Diponegoro University (1 team), Malang State Polytechnic (2 teams), and Bandung Manufacturing Polytechnic (2 teams).

“This achievement is a valuable experience and motivation for us to continue learning and developing ourselves so that we can achieve higher achievements in the future,” said the UNDIP team representative.

This achievement demonstrates the commitment of UNDIP Electrical Engineering students to hone their technical skills while strengthening their competitiveness in the field of industrial technology. It is hoped that this achievement will inspire other students to continue innovating and excelling in various competitions, both nationally and internationally.
